A few years back, I did a project with a friend. I had always wanted to do a shoot that revolved around dance. This is actually just a portion of it, but I think it's a good representation of what we were going for and how it turned out.

The overall shoot took two different sessions, each a little over an hour. We used tube lighting with a color changer that gave us a good range of color work with. Each color, outfit, and set of poses represents a different Biblical idea.

Randi is a genuinely heartfelt, introspective, and expressive person, so the shoot was more about creating the space for her to move and me mostly just hanging back and shooting each pose as it flowed out.
