FAQs

  • "What is 'Brand Photography'?"

Brand photography is capturing the essence of your business through intentional, cohesive visuals that reflect your values and personality while also showcasing what you have to offer. It goes beyond the images, telling your story in a way that builds trust, connects with your audience, and elevates your brand across every platform.

  • "Why does my business/brand need it?"

High quality brand photos help people see a variety of things: how what you offer can add value, what life looks like if they do use your product/service, the hard work and dedication you put into your work that ultimately leads to their success. Brand photos not only help people see but also feel that you’re a brand they can trust.

  • "How much does it cost?"

Every session is different. The cost depends on - but is not limited to - factors such as location, lighting, props, and the number of images.

After a shoot, you’ll have the option to choose which images you want and tailor your cost. That way you only pay for what you need.

  • "How long does a session take?"

I try to keep sessions as short as possible. It really depends on the complexity of the project.

I understand that your time is valuable. As part of the ‘Plan’ stage, we’ll determine what your shoot will need time & resource-wise and coordinate to make the shoot as efficient as possible while also ensuring it captures what you need.

  • "What do I bring?"

Depending on the shoot, you may need to just bring yourself! But, a few “props” don’t hurt!

If you work mostly from your computer or a tablet, bring your primary work device. If you’re an artist, bring art supplies. If you’re a musician, bring an instrument. If you’re wanting several looks, bring an extra outfit or two.

There will be some shoots where I come to you. For instance if you’re a carpenter or a welder, photographing you in the space you do your work in may be more practical than bringing carpentry or welding gear into a studio.

We’ll determine all of this in the ‘Plan’ stage.

  • "How long do photos take to get back?"

I try to keep turnaround times as short as possible, but I understand there are times where you have time-sensitive deadlines or are looking to launch a brand or campaign.

As part of the ‘Plan’ stage, we’ll talk about your deadlines and make sure that your photos are delivered to you when you need them without sacrificing quality.
